Following a reorganization in 2018, EPA’s new Office of Mission Support lacked a comprehensive internal communications strategy. To better understand the needs of their customers, they conducted employee focus groups, leadership interviews and surveys. This information was used to develop a strategic approach to providing employees with information essential to their jobs. The ‘One Voice’ program focuses on five guidelines for creating content: highlighting benefits, focusing on people, using conversational language, making the important interesting, and including powerful visuals.

Learn how you can transform your internal communications, including:

  • Methods for understanding your audiences
  • Guidelines for developing communications that people will read and act on
  • Practical strategies for inspiring employees to change that have been successful at EPA
  • How to create big change with few resources
