Workshop A: Strategic Communications & Storytelling to Inspire and Engage Employees - led by HATTAWAY COMMUNICATIONS

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This session will explore the motivating power of strategic communications, which speaks to the hopes and values of your audience in order to connect with them in a meaningful way. It will also explore the power of storytelling to help you make sense of a given situation and understand what role you play within your organization.

In this interactive workshop, you will learn to motivate and connect with employees with three simple steps:

  • Frame it first: The first thing you say about a topic influences all of the perceptions and judgments that follow
  • Emphasize the positive: use positive language to describe the information you are communicating
  • The science of storytelling: create exciting and interesting stories to motivate and emphasize positive communications
